C.A. AND MACFARLANES - CASTING SINKERS INTO THE FUTURE

Consolidated Alloys is pleased to announce the purchase of Duncan.H.Macfarlane Pty Ltd.   Macfarlanes origins date back to 1939, when Mr. Duncan Macfarlane began producing fine quality sinkers for the local market from his garage in Eastwood.   As the business grew, it moved to larger premises located at Mascot, and further expansion allowed Macfarlanes to invest in their own facility at Ryde, which coincided with the introduction of Mr. Macfarlanes son Malcolm to the business.    The company continued to expand, and the early 1970's saw Mr. Macfarlane ease out of the business, handing the reins to Malcolm, whose continued focus on quality and service ensured ongoing success.

Now under the umbrella of the C.A.Group, Consolidated Alloys will strive to maintain these values and preserve the proud heritage of this great Australian manufacturer, by providing the best quality sinkers and net leads, at competitive prices, to the Australian market.
