CHROME PLATING ANODES

Getting the best performance from your anode is based on getting the correct length and surface area for the planned work. Anode surfaces need to be activated (to build a continuous conductive chocolate brown coating of lead peroxide). Inactive anodes are readily detected by the presence of yellow lead chromate. | ||
Should the anode become deactivated and non-conductive, deterioration will result. In addition, the necessary anode reactions will not take place and trivalent chrome concentrations will increase. With your request for quotation, please include a detailed, fully dimensioned drawing. Include shaft and hook length as well as diameter, thickness and special coatings required. |
